Perfect Day at the "BIRD"

Saturday we took all the kids skiing. This is only the 2nd time this season. We forget how much work it is to get everyone ready and all the equiptment packed. We have three girls so of course there is always drama. Dave still isn't used to girls emotions. Once we were on the hill and the kids all hooked up with friends they had the time of their lives. Olivia is great little skier with no fear. She was pitching a fit because she wanted to go down the Black Forest which is a black diamond tree run.

PAPA'S 66TH B-DAY

gRANDPA celebrated his b-day on thursday Jan. 24th with us. He took his girls out to lunch to Iggy's and then came to our house for birthday cake. He was very touched with all the attention. I love to see my dad get emotional.

Here comes Suzy Snowflake

We woke up to over a foot of snow and it still hasn't stopped. Parker went skiing with friends this morning. He left at 8am, but I think they ended up sitting on busses until after 9am waiting for the canyon to open. Dave is dying inside to be missing such an epic ski day, but somebody's got to work. Bryn and Lauren went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks and Olivia went to Bouncin off the Walls. And me, I'm home sick with a cold enjoying a nice book. yeah!!

Gingerbread House

Over Christmas break Lauren and Olivia decorated this Gingerbread house all by themselves. I was so proud of them. Bryn and Parker were off with friends and were upset they did it without them. Bryn always has to be with her friends, so I thought it only fair the two girls have something fun to do.

Finally

I have wondered how to customize or have the look of a customized blog. I really am computer illiterate. I always have to call Mel or Di and ask questions on how to blog. Mel gave me this new tip. Thanks Mel. I did have a background I liked better ( less busy), but the pics were transparent and it was annoying to view. I will get some new pics posted soon.

Come one come all

We had our second annual Weeks everyone sleep over Christmas Eve Party. Dad and Mom prepared all the food. For dinner dad made shrimp and clam chowder and med. rare roast beef sandwiches. Mom made a yummy breakfast casserole and our traditional ebelskiebers. Di and Lori helped me clean the house which I very much appreciate. Di can whip my kids into shape better than me.
The party was real fun. Jeff made name plates for everyone, he is so much fun to have over because he gets so into it. He loves setting everyones stuff out.

Our own Hannah Montana

Olivia is quite obsessed with High School Musical. She is always belting out all the songs. Bentley gave her a microphone that plays High School Musical songs and Grandma gave her a Hannah Montana wig and doll. She is so fun to watch. Alex and Bentley had fun with is also.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

iT'S quite embarrassing how many gifts the kids received. They were all very happy

Even Roxy made a haul. Roxy loves Uncle Matt and Grandma.

CHRISTMAS PJ'S

Bryn and Lauren loved their matching jammies from Justice.

All the kids opened their one gift Christmas Eve, pj's.
Parker was actually cooperating and smiling for this pic. It seems now that he is 13 he is way to cool for photos. We went to get the kids photo with Santa yesterday and he was so embarrased and would not cooperate and it made him look quite nerdy.

Uncle Edwina

We had Edd and Alan over for a small gathering. Olivia had Uncle Edd all Glamed out. WE renamed him Edwina. What a sport he is.
